Knapple completed a Foundation Degree in 2015 at Wensum Lodge in Norwich, this is where the original pineapple was born, in the form of a three layer screenprint.

She began doing graffiti in 2017 and says, "when I was trying to decide what to 'tag' I thought, I'll just do a stupid pineapple", and since then the signature 'Knapple' has spread far and wide.
